Kevin Rowsome is the fifth generation of uilleann pipers / pipe makers in his family he was surrounded with traditional Irish music. Kevin formally started playing the pipes at the age of six under the guidance of his grandfather Leo and father, Leon. Kevin won the prestigious pipes competition at the Oireachtas in 1991. He has vast experience as a pipes performer / instructor.
